Peter Egan
Managing Director
After leaving the Army in the 80’s Peter carried on a career in and around the Security Services, which of course in those days was void of too much legislation, however standards were always and still are at the forefront of his service ethos.
In the late 90's, Peter moved full-time into the commercial sector
in security and worked for one of the top 3 Facilities Management Providers in the UK. Starting at ground level and moving on to head up their Security Retail Sector, Peter looked after clients such as Amazon, M&S, H&M, 3M and many more well-known brands.
He now has the privilege of running a growing family business, calling on past experiences within the FM and service sector and the experiences of his sons Samuel and James. He can generally be found rolling up his sleeves to ensure service delivery and customer focus is paramount.

james Egan
Commercial Director
James has extensive experience in the property and facilities sector. Through property management, property investments, construction, property sales & lettings and project management. He also owns one of Southampton's most up and coming Estate Agents, Edison Green.
Loyalty, integrity and delivering service to the highest standard are important attributes to James, as well as priding himself in having an eye for detail and a forward-thinking mind set. He sees solutions and opportunities where others may see the end of the road, something that has been a trait in his professional career.
Adopting the same entrepreneurial spirit as Peter, James has always aspired to use his skills to develop and build a successful company. Being a strong networker James has brought with him a range of long standing connections across the property, financial and legal services sectors. James’ focus is on the commercial strategy and development of EDI across its portfolio of services.

maria Egan
Office Manager & Property Finisher
Maria has worked in a customer service role within the insurance industry for over 30 years and has developed skills that have given her recognition and respect from her colleagues.
Being a great people person, Maria also volunteers at the Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at the Southampton General Hospital every week. Combining all of these qualities she works closely in ensuring we have a customer first focus.
Her other responsibilities involve supporting EDI in property finishing and account and finance management.

sam Egan
Head of Landscaping
Sam started his Landscaping and Grounds maintenance career working for a local business in Southampton, but soon decided that he would expand his knowledge and training within a large National Facilities provider.
Working in and around the Hampshire area, Sam worked on large retail parks, learning and developing within a Grounds Maintenance team.
It soon became apparent that he wanted to broaden his horizons so decided to look for contracts of his own, which has now developed into working within the family business of EDI.

Mark Morgans
Security Operations Director
Mark Morgans has over 30 years' experience in senior management positions within the security industry, working with blue chip organisations and international customers with a turnover of £25/£35 million. He managed a workforce of 2,500/3,000 employees and his experience includes major account management, specialist security assignments, and close protection.
Mark believes in a 'hands on' approach, and specialises in troubleshooting and problem solving within security operations.
Having worked his way from Security Officer to Director level including commercial and business development roles, both in the UK and abroad, Mark has a unique understanding and experience of the security industry and its challenges, which he will apply to your security needs.
